Name: Xigbar Door: All men have sinned. Canon: Kingdom Hearts Canon Point: after Kingdom Hearts III Age: unknown Appearance: see here History: see here Personality: The Nobodies of the Kingdom Hearts world are beings that have lost their hearts and, with them, their ability to feel and express emotions—but that doesn’t keep them from having strong personalities. Xigbar tends to make a fun first impression: for a guy who can usually be found taking part in some grand evil plans, he’s casual, playful and flippant, often to the point of rudeness. His heartlessness keeps him from forging lasting relationships or worrying about other people’s feelings. Even so, Xigbar seems to enjoy the company of others as much as he enjoys their absence, teasing people he just met and even helping them occasionally when the whim strikes him. He’s cocky and carefree, and by all appearances he likes to keep it that way. Underneath his chill dude exterior, though, Xigbar is just as calculating as his colleagues in Organization XIII—possibly even more so, given his inclination to poke sleeping bears and swing sticks at beehives just to see what happens. He’s manipulative, aided strongly by the fact that he often seems like the only person who knows what the hell is going on and isn’t too eager to spell it out for others; and given how much suffering the series protagonists endure, his flippancy about it can often seem downright cruel. And even when things aren’t going according to plan, nothing throws him for long. This is probably because he’s playing a weirder game than anyone thinks. At the end of Kingdom Hearts III it’s revealed that Xigbar is actually the most recent incarnation of a man named Luxu, who’s lived countless lives in order to dutifully oversee the fulfillment of a mysterious prophecy. Luxu’s secret journals imply that somewhere in there is an extremely tired man putting on act after act in body after body in order to ensure his long-gone master’s plans come to fruition even if he doesn’t fully understand them himself. While it remains to be seen whether the war that Xigbar labored to start in his master’s name will result in catastrophe for the Kingdom Hearts universe, one thing is clear—Luxu’s obsession persists at the expense of all else, including his sense of time and self. Powers and Abilities: sharpshooter - technically “freeshooter” depending on how much you love this cursed canon. Every Nobody with a name has their own fancy magic weapon, and Xigbar’s is a set of “arrowguns,” which are guns that I guess shoot arrows, but the arrows are magic, and also sometimes the guns are a bow or one big ol’ sniper rifle. IN ANY CASE, Xigbar is a skilled marksman, even though that eyepatch should have bigger implications for his depth perception. space manipulation - he can teleport, make wormholes, and also levitate himself and presumably other objects—though he prefers to walk upside-down or whatever because he lives for drama summoning little goobers - they're called Snipers, they ARE NPCs, they WILL shoot you with a CROSSBOW also he can summon a keyblade because, I dunno, reasons Inventory: an eyepatch and, just for fun, and someplace no one will ever see or find it, a big stupid black trunk.
